Terms and Conditions – Tranquil Stay

By completing a reservation at Tranquil Stay, the Guest ("Guest", "you", or "your") agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking & Payment

A reservation is confirmed only after full payment has been successfully processed through the Wix booking platform.
Accepted payment methods include major credit and debit cards processed through Wix Payments.
All rates are subject to applicable taxes, service charges, and local occupancy taxes, including but not limited to the Suffolk County occupancy tax of 6% where applicable.
Tranquil Stay reserves the right to cancel reservations that violate property policies or payment verification requirements.

2. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM EST.
Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM EST.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and may incur an additional charge of no less than $30 per hour, subject to availability.
Unauthorized late checkout may result in additional charges.

3. Occupancy Limits

Maximum occupancy for the property is six (6) guests, unless otherwise approved in writing.
Only registered guests included in the reservation are permitted on the property.
Parties, events, large gatherings, or unauthorized visitors are strictly prohibited.

Violation of occupancy limits may result in:

immediate termination of the reservation
removal from the property
additional cleaning or disturbance charges

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations made 28 days or more before check-in will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 14 to 27 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made 13 days or fewer before check-in are non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for:

no-shows
shortened stays
weather conditions
travel disruptions outside the host's control.

5. House Rules

Guests agree to follow all property rules during their stay.

No smoking inside the property. Should smoking occur, a $250 charge will be applied.
Pets are allowed only with prior approval and may be subject to additional conditions.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Guests must respect neighbors and the surrounding community.
The property must be maintained in reasonable condition during the stay.
Failure to comply with house rules may result in additional charges or immediate termination of the stay without refund.

6. Use of Amenities

Use of the property, amenities, kitchen, backyard, and common areas is at the guest’s own risk.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Tranquil Stay shall not be held liable for:

accidents
injuries
lost or stolen personal property
incidents occurring on or around the premises.

7. Property Condition, Cleaning & Damage Responsibility

Guests agree to maintain the property in good condition throughout the stay.
The host reserves the right to inspect the property after checkout to verify its condition.

Guests are financially responsible for:

property damage
missing items
excessive cleaning beyond normal use
stains, spills, or smoke damage
broken furniture or appliances
damage caused by pets or unauthorized guests.

Repair, replacement, or cleaning costs will be charged based on actual repair or replacement expenses, including labor where applicable.
Guests authorize Tranquil Stay to charge the payment method used for the reservation for verified damages, excessive cleaning, or rule violations.

8. Privacy & Security

Tranquil Stay respects the privacy of its guests and is committed to protecting personal information.
When a booking is made, personal information including name, contact information, and payment details may be collected to process reservations and provide guest services.
All payment transactions are processed through secure payment providers using SSL encryption.
Personal data is stored on secure servers operated by Wix.com, which complies with international data protection standards including GDPR and CCPA where applicable.
Tranquil Stay does not sell, rent, or distribute personal information to unauthorized third parties.

9. Right to Refuse Service or Terminate Stay

Tranquil Stay reserves the right to terminate a reservation or remove guests from the property for:

violation of house rules
property damage
illegal activity
excessive noise or disturbance
unauthorized guests or gatherings.

In such cases, no refund will be issued, and additional charges may apply.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.

Any disputes arising from the reservation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located within Suffolk County, New York.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By completing a reservation and submitting payment, the Guest confirms that:

• they are at least 18 years of age
• they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions
• they agree to comply with all property rules during the stay.
